Sales Manager (Coal & Mining), Kazakhstan

On behalf of our client, a reputable international industry player, we are looking for Sales Manager responsible for business development within mining and metallurgical companies in Kazakhstan and CIS.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design clear sales pipeline
  2.  Monitor tenders on weekly basis in order to identify potential business opportunities
  3. Meet high profile customers and technical staff across CIS in order to gain market insights
  4. Evaluate and analyze production and technological process of selected companies in order to identify potential gaps or technical issues that can be solved
  5. Design and implement transparent sales plan for short and mid term
  6. Coordinate activities with operations department
  7. Set up long and tight relationship with key mining and metallurgical companies in CIS

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree in Chemistry\Mining\Metallurgy from leading Western Universities
  2. 10+ experience in mining/metallurgy or geochemistry
  3. Existing customer/partner base in mining or metallurgy industries
  4. Technical expertise in mining/metallurgy and/or geochemistry
  5. Experience in project management
  6. English language – upper intermediate

Skills:

  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Ms Office programs
  • Advanced Excel User
  • Knowledge of other software programs is an advantage
  • ERP\SAP user (is an advantage)
